Minimum Educational Qualifications Required :-
1.Scientist ‘D – ( Vacancy-04 )Essential :-
(i) Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Experience of eight years in Scientific and Technological organizations or Research and Development or both in Industrial and Academic Institutions.
Desirable :-
Doctorate Degree in Natural Sciences or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit :- The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract).
2.Scientist ‘G'(Vacancy- 02) – Essential :-
i. Doctorate Degree in Natural Sciences or Agricultural Sciences or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or Institute.
ii. Experience of fifteen years in Science and Technology organizations or Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or both, out of which at least seven years should be in, –
I administering, plan, development or coordinate of Science and Technology programmes;
II experience in evolving, managing, and directing major programmes under any branch of Science and Technology;
III proven record of policy initiatives for the Science and Technology Sector;
IV proven record of leading a team.
Desirable :-
Post Doctorate research in Natural Sciences or Agricultural Sciences or Doctorate Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or Institute as evidenced by certification by such University or Institute and publication of research work in journals of repute.
Age Limit :- shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Pay Scale/Salary for Scientist D & G Post in Ministry of Earth Sciences Delhi:
The Scientist D & G of the Board will be paid honorarium of 1,25,000 to Rs. 2,00,000/- per sitting or as decided by the Government.
