1. Bio-informatics specialists :- (Vacancy -01)
Qualification for Bio-informatics specialists :-
Essential:
Master degree (M.Tech/ M.Sc/ MS) Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology /Life Sciences in Bioinformatics or
Biotechnology / Life Sciences with specialization in Bioinformatics from a recognized University. At least one year
experience after M. Tech / MS degree or 3 years after M. Sc degree in the field of bioinformatics as evident from
publications in scientific journals of high international repute
Desirable:
Candidate holding Post Doc in Bioinformatics Candidate holding PhD degree on a relevant topic related to any of
the above field from a recognized University will be given preference. Research and development of various
bioinformatics tools to study, analyze and interpret data related to laboratory-based studies on infectious diseases.
Molecular modelling as applied to molecular biology and genetics of infectious diseases or other similar areas
related to bioinformatics of human diseases
Salary :- Salary: Rs. 75,000/-
Age Limit :- Not more than 40 Years (in case of retired Government Servant as per DoPT Guidelines
Selection Process for Bio-informatics specialists in NCDC :-
On the basis of performance of a candidate in written exam/walkin Interview.
