Proactively monitor database system details including stored procedures and execution time, and implement process improvements. 4. Monitor, optimize, and allocate physical data storage for database systems. 5. Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases. 6. Perform database transaction and security audits. Setup database access controls. 7. Advise the customer on best practices. 8. Hands on experience in participating in upgrades & migrations for customers. 9. Ensure that customers are have appropriate maintenance in place including backups, index maintenance, and routine vacuuming. 10. Hands on with Performance tuning. 11. Should continue to learn new skills involved in being a DBA as the technology evolves. 12. Keep up to date with new releases of database and advise customers of the aspects that pertain to them. 13. Experience on Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching. |
