What are Essential Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria for Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector in Border Security Force?

| Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical) | (1) Deputation
(I) Serving Border Security Force personnel in 4.he rank of Sub-Inspector having three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments: or (ii) Serving Border Security Force personnel in the rank of Assistant Sub-nspector in the PML-5 having three years Diploma in tiental Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments with six years regular service in the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector; or Oil) Serving Border Security Force personnel in the rank of Head Constable having three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments with ten years regular service in the rank of Head Constable. (2) FOR EX-SERVICEMEN Deputation/Re-employment – The Armed Forces personnel clue to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having requisite experience and qualifications prescribed shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terns upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces: thereafter they may be continued on re-employment. (3) The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maxi-mum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding fifty two years as on the closing date of receipt of applicatio-s. The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment by deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. |
