MBBS, MD or equivalent from a recognised University and approved by Medical Council of India/ National Medical Commission, with more than 15 years of research/ academic/ clinical experience with outstanding scientific achievement and temperament in above fields. Desirable Qualifications: (i) Experience of heading a medical research institute of repute and should have demonstrated managerial/ administrative capability to plan, guide and implement the vast, varied and multifaceted activities in the area of medical research; (ii) Proven record of Medical/ Bio-medical Health Research as published in prestigious national and international journals; (iii) Involvement in multicentric/ technological research work involving handling of large projects in medical research; and (iv) Experience in regulatory issues and international collaborations.
